  How has God shown Himself in your life?

  how do you know god exists?

  life sucks and then you die. but you can try to make it suck less and make it a long one ticket rollercoaster ride. and noones gonna do much about it.

  nah, the doctors saved him. but i had a good friend in his early 30s who was a good man and believed in god and he was taken away, so i guess someone must be very special to be saved from death by god. more so if it happened several times.

  Jwfacts, Why Do You Equate Miracles With Magic?

  i have a question for the author of the website jwfacts.

  as i was reading the sparlock article, i couldn't help but notice something seriously wrong:.

  "the bible abounds in vivid fantasy, such as its many celestial descriptions, or the portrayal of warring kingdoms with imaginary beasts.. the sparlock message is confusing, as much for an adult as for a child, as the bible shows that god's followers practice magic, even if they are usually referred to as miracles.

  moses did quite a few magic tricks, like turning his stick into a schlong, parting the red seas, striking a rock until it released enough water for a few million souls, scaring snakes away etc.

  the talking bush was a miracle though.

  The Bible-- Full of Errors And Inconsistencies?

  i noticed in the "magic" thread many former jw's no longer adhere to the bible as the unerring and accurate word of god.

  if you feel this way, can you please list any specific reasons/arguments as to why not.

  this thread isn't for debating purposes, but simply for listing.

  i've found this topic and subject to be extremely powerful.

  this is for those who still believe in god, realize the wt is apostate, and trying to help family.

  (meaning i do not wish it to be used on trying to turn people athiest, i respect everyone's choices, i just believe and would hate my help to do what i feel is wrong) it might help fix things, or if you are still wondering how to awaken them without scaring them and being instantly shunned.
